What are the limits on the free plan?
Free gives you 3 videos per month (max 3 min each) with the full feature set — 1080p, all caption themes, music, publishing, AI metadata, the works. Exports include a small "Made by ShortCut" watermark. Upgrade to Creator to remove the watermark and get 100 videos per month at any length.
Will the price go up?
We can't predict the future, but we believe in honest, stable pricing. If we ever need to adjust pricing, existing customers keep their current rate.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel immediately at the end of the billing period. Annual plans cancel at the end of the year. No contracts, no cancellation fees.
Do you claim rights to my content?
No. Your content is yours. We don't claim any ownership rights, we don't use your content for training, and we don't collect biometric data. Full stop.
What video formats do you support?
Most common formats: MP4, MOV, WEBM. If your phone recorded it, ShortCut can edit it.
Will you add more expensive tiers later?
